ADISQ

ADISQ fonded in 1978, l'Association québécoise de l'industrie du disque, du spectacle et de la vidéo (ADISQ) is focused on defending the interests of its members by furthering the development of the Quebec music industry. ADISQ is a non-profit professional organization.

 

Copyright Board Canada

The Board is an economic regulatory body empowered to establish, either of its own accord or at the request of an interested party, the royalties to be paid for the use of copyrighted works or other copyrighted subject-matters, when the administration of such copyright is entrusted to a collective-administration society. The Board also has the right to supervise agreements between users and licensing bodies and issue licenses when the copyright owner cannot be located.
